Boom Collective was appointed to as Building Services Engineering Consultant on the refurbishment of this listed building.
The project transformed dated, small cellular style offices, across multiple floors, into open-plan office spaces that exposed and emphasised the natural and historic features of the original building.
The listed nature of the building drove the heating ventilation and air conditioning design into a solution that utilised a service raft or spine through the centre of the office space to minimise the impact on the historic fabric. BOOM Collective’s design also means that in the future the mechanical and electrical services fit-out can be easily removed with only absolute minimal intervention to the building.
