At a time of restructuring some of the UK’s most high profile news and current affairs publications, including The Times, the Dow Jones, Harper and Collins and other associated companies, News International sought to draw all assets under one roof.
BOOM Collective was part of a team, led by Perkins + Wills, to review the soon to be complete ‘baby Shard’ formally known as 1 London Bridge Street for its suitability for a newly restructured and branded ‘News UK’.
The Due Diligence review was to include an appraisal of the base build design, flexibility of future fit-outs and adaptability for News UK demanding needs to ensure their deadlines were maintained.
