Overview

Over the last three years, BOOM Collective have been appointed to provide the building engineering services design consultancies on several mews house redevelopments in London.

Working for Joseph Homes Ltd., we have delivered the design to tender on Cornwall Terrace Mews and Reece Mews. Both of these projects involved the retention of the existing building façade, the excavation to provide a basement level of accommodation and a Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 compliance assessment.

Both of these projects have led to commissions for other private mews house clients at Princes Gate Mews and Eaton Terrace Mews, whilst successful collaboration with Richard Mitzman Architects has led to company recommendations and successful commissions on large private residencies such as Hamilton Terrace, where BOOM Collective provided assistance through to planning and Sheldon Avenue.

Collaborative working with Studio Stassano Architects on St. Swithin’s Lane has led to repeat residential work on Blenheim Road and Cadogan Square projects; both successfully delivered in 2015.

The architectural recommendations and repeat client work are testament to BOOM Collective’s approach to New Professionalism.
