Working with Krause Architects, BOOM Collective were appointed to develop the building engineering services design of this part extension / part refurbishment of a 680m2 mixed residential and commercial development in Shoreditch, East London.
BOOM Collective have developed a Building Regulations compliant, ‘whole building’ energy strategy to achieve the clients’ brief of a highly sustainable, low energy in use solution whilst still facilitating the architectural concept of a semi-translucent ‘beacon’ for the additional top two storeys of the building.
